Breeding Information

Here at Foundations Equine, we take great pride in our breeding operation.  Nothing pleases us more than our customers telling us we were able to get their mare pregnant when the "big farms" weren't successful.  Quality reproductive services don't have to be expensive.  We will only recommend the procedures that are really necessary, we are not just trying to spend your money.

Ovulation confirmation on every mare we breed

Chute Fee of $150.00 applies to every mare bred at Foundations Equine.  It includes all procedures required to get your mare pregnant.  We will track her cycle, offer diagnostic procedures (if indicated),  inseminate her at the appropriate time, confirm her ovulation and check her in foal.  This fee applies per cycle and is not included in your stud fee.  If you breed your mare to one of our stallions, you will never pay a collection fee.

For example:

Breed your mare to Triple X Fella and pay the $400.00 stud fee.  If you choose to have us breed her onsite, the $150.00 chute fee applies.  The only other charges you will incur would be mare care, $12 per day wet mare and $10 per day dry mare. 

Need your stallion trained to the phantom?  Base price is $300.00 and includes 10 days board.  Stallions are individuals, so it make take longer to get him breeding the dummy.  We will collect and analyze his semen, and try him with a variety of extenders to determine how to best process his semen for shipment.

Need your mare foaled out?  For a flat $300.00 fee we will monitor and attend your mare's foaling.  We have cameras in the barn and we have extensive experience just in case something goes wrong.

Drive in and have your stallion collected to breed your mare, or ship semen.  We will collect the semen, and properly analyze it and extend it for shipment.  Collections are $100.00 and if we need to ship the semen the charge is $175.00.
